A obra aberta virou algo enigmático e pouco amigável.

Como Nossos Pais - O Filme

Se é um filme para mulheres ou homens, tanto faz. O que me incomoda é - na tentativa de destacar o papel da mulher - depreciar o outro lado. Não há personagens masculinos de relevância. O marido, o amante, o irmão, o(s) pai(s) - são todos à sua maneira - apenas objetos decorativos/imberbes - elementos que flutuam entre serem legais, bacanas, divertidos, safados. O filme assim torna-se um belo convite para ser rotulado como vitimista, ou melhor dizendo, um filme feminista que relega o homem a um papel secundário - erro que nós homens cometemos anos a fio.

Temos o choque de culturas, de estilos, de princípios. A arrogância faz do Tenente Coronel - interpretado por Henry Fonda - um líder fadado ao fracasso desde o começo. Sem a humildade necessária para aprender com os nossos subalternos, cometeremos erros fatais e a queda (a morte) será uma questão de tempo.
